"...I suppose that if rock 'n roll really went belly up, and these kids were all that was left, I'd have to turn to Gospel." - Music Critic

The Gingerdead Men were formed, officially, in the summer of 1998. Three young lads in a small Ohio town, best known for its abundance of fast food restaurants, decided to go out and make noise with one theory in mind:

Music is fun when you don't know how.

Often described as eclectic, tGDM are best described as an insaniac freakout. With song subject matter ranging from dinosaurs to shipwrecks, assassins to lab-rats, The Gingerdead Men attack it all. They are prolific to a degree that suggests quantity over quality!

Genres are all but ignored as the GDM abuse their vast arsenal of insignificant equipment. They've got anything from three-string whizbangs to a seven-string juggernaut in the guitar department; some good, some bad, and some ugly basses; numerous keyboards of varying sophistication; and more amps and effects pedals than seems logical. It would also seem logical to know how to use all of this equipment, but the Gingerdead Men cannot be bothered with such a technicality. They just want to kick out the jams.
